Yep -— checks out for me. SS card issued in Texas with first four in that range.
Washington
I was born/registered in Washington and my prefix is 538.
What are the prefixes for Washington, DC?
you’d think they’d run out of numbers in some of these states.
My SSN was issued in Indiana in this group of numbers in 1943.
There was no zip code when I was born.....I do not exist..
It would considerate to provide the URL of your source website. It's just a copy and paste operation. two keystrokes and a little mousing.
I, my husband, and my son’s first 3 #’s in SS# all fit in with the state list you posted.
My husband and I were born in the 60’s, and my son in the late 80’s.
All three of us lived in and requested the number in different states.
One of them being Hawaii.
So in my family’s case, this list is correct.
I don’t think you are showing all 57 states!
O, wait, no.... that works. and mine was issued before the mid-70s.
