“Do I even need to say it?”
If people are just now realizing that the Mexican government is corrupt, they are pretty stupid.....or they want people to believe they are stupid. The Mexican government has always been corrupt. Those in our government that deal with them are corrupt also. Just follow the money.
In Mexicorruption? It cannot be.
Mexico is corrupt, like most of Latin America. Mexican government is just a puppet of the elites, who have ruled for 500 years.
Nothing to see here, its all the fault of American gun owners.
When the PAN started winning Presidential elections I imagine some of their first reactions to their policies being ignored was "say what?".
Not like things were actually going to change no matter what the figurehead thinks. Then again, not too far back you had Presidents who were actively engaged in the corruption long before becoming Prez.
Pingo!
If you want on, or off this S. Texas/Mexico ping list, please FReepMail me.
When you have to include bribes as part of your travel budget for Mexico, corruption is suggested.
With all of the millions of Mexican illegals in this country and all of the crime that goes with it; drugs, millions of fake documents, human trafficking, insurance scams etc., it is not unreasonable to believe that some of that money from all of that illegal activity can be going into the pockets of politicians. That is the pattern in any country on earth. Organized crime goes hand in hand with corruption.
SCREW MEXICO..
Its all about open boarders and ammnesty after all!
I can’t even imagine all the blackmailing, blackballing and threats being made up the govt chain over this. On both sides of the border. What i don’t have to imagine is the body count... over 6000 in the last 2 years. This is a clear and present danger to the US.
Juan Williams was carping about the corruption of Hamid Karzi.
Is Hamid more corrupt than Obama?
Is the Afghan government more corrupt than the American government.
Measured in $$$ it doesn’t even come close
Tom Tancredo said that Mexican organized crime was backing candidates in the US. He said that some of the crime money was laundered through business fronts and then passed on to the crooked candidates.
Even many decent Americans are so naive. The acceptance of this backing by certain politicians is not necessarily explicit, but implicit, like in looking the other way at the right time. This is quite obvious in our area right now.
Bill Clinton did not have to say "terminate this Ron Brown," but rather, "we need to do something about this man." And the Mossad boys just nod internally.
One doesn't get the first degree for that.
And of course the LEFT makes those facing up to the corruption, the extreme right. Exactly why the only antidote is clearly articulated values, not political speak.
The point of a third party or Tea Party.
Me too.
There is a culture of deception in politics which attracts a certain kind of person who is shrewd and Machiavellian. We have been voting for these slick manipulators and impostors for years in both parties. We didn't catch on that they were lying to us because the national situation was not so grim. Now that things are at the crisis stage, we are all paying closer attention. We are looking under the rocks and seeing all kinds of creepy crawlers running in all directions. It is funny how you can look at a person in one way and then a year later, they look totally different to you. We are looking at the same people but we are seeing them in a whole different light. We are seeing that they are not the respectable gentlemen and ladies that we thought they were. Instead we are now seeing that they are very disreputable near criminals. The problems that we are having now comes from years of their lies and neglect.
What area are you living in?
