If you want traditional sex rules and marriage to return, then invent a pill for men.

Once men can have all the sex they want with no risk of pregnancy, then females will quickly go back to their old ways of guarding the goods and making you barter, and negotiate, and work for it.

Means nothing if abortion is available on demand.

That is absolutely wrong. Sex was designed by God for reproduction. In an economy where is is practically impossible to reproduce, men and woman will either frantically mate with as many people as often as possible or give up completely. The desire to have children is at our core. That desire is suppressed at unbearable cost.

They already have it, it's call a vasectomy and a freezer of home made "Popsicles" for when you want kids

I read somewhere along the line that they tried this with men early on and one man died in the trials. One man. So they then turned their focus to contracepting the female. I don’t recall how many women died before they got it ‘right’.

Pope Paul VI’s much maligned and generally despised encyclical, Humanae Vitae was prophetic in its foretelling of precisely what has come to pass since the sexual revolution started. It started some 38 years prior however, since before 1930 no Christian denomination embraced artificial contraception.
