I would NOT mind being married to her-maybe the other guys were closet liberals;)

From the linked Daily Mail article:

The film star, who was linked to a string of men in her heyday - including Elvis Presley, Dean Martin and Burt Bacharach - said she would urge women to feel comfortable with growing old.

Not being much of a celebrity-watcher, I wouldn't know about Dean Martin or Burt Bacharach, but I believe that Elvis was quite conservative in many ways.  One of his great passions was religious and particularly Gospel music and he was proud of his military service.

That being said, I think that Raquel Welch would provide 'unique' challenges for any marriage simply due to the fact that every healthy, single man on the planet would do just about anything to have her on his arm, and more.  She has spent her life being the quintessential 'sexual lightning rod', and I can hardly imagine the sort of pressures that sort of intensity would have on her as well as those close to her.

Far lower pressures have claimed many celebrities as suicides, drug addicts and has ruined untold numbers of marriages....perhaps hers as well.

I remember when Elvis went into the Army and Cassius Clay refused. I respected Elvis and despised Cassius.
