James Polk is my 2nd favorite President, right behind Andrew Jackson. Our country would be smaller in size today without these men. Hard to believe that they were both Democrats from TN. If alive, they would probably immediately challenge the idiot Gore to a duel.

Ever hear of the "Trail of Tears"? I do not see how Jackson's treatment of the Indians was justified.
