My memory of Campbell is from when he ran in the primary against Hershchensohn in the 80s. I didn’t follow his career after that.
Campbell is the Government Run Media insider in the race.
I do, people need to stop embracing phony moderates and psuedo-Conservatives.

Exactly. To the Tea Party groups it appears that the CA GOP, Carly’s campaign, the 527 that sent in the accusation, and Sarah Palin are all working together to negate the Tea Party influence over who will be the nominee. It looks like the establishment is saying, “OK you’ve had your fun, and your rallies, now we’re taking the process back over. You can go home now.”
I don’t think Sarah was part of this. I believe she wants Tea Party groups involved and she certainly will need them if she runs in 2012. If she is just now learning about the apparent collusion between the CA GOP, the Carly campaign, and the 527 that made the accusation, she should call a halt to her endorsement and make it known that she disapproves this behavior.
This is not the only involvement by the CA GOP to thwart DeVore’s campaign. Fiorina admitted that she was recruited by the party to run for senator against DeVore who had already begun his campaign.
In any event, the Tea Party people are not going home and will probably be invigorated by these events.
If you are taking flak you are over the target. I don’t how anyone can support a person who ran HP into the ground and was basically fired for incompetence. Palin, sadly, doesn’t get it.

We who support Carley know this already and why Campbell was moved over from the Gov. race to the Senate race to take out Carley.
Tom Campbell ain’t winning anything. If anything, he’s drawing votes away from Fiorina.
Alluring stuff that Potomac Koolaid. Causes Potomac Fever. Generally leading to a degenerative condition noted in flyover country as spinal atrophy. What we’re left with is a lump of slimy tissue not worth putting into hog feed. And that’s a fact.

Campbell has a lead based solely on name recognition. He is the best known candidate having been in office and having run twice for senator and lost. His debate performance was sub-par and his support is soft and will decline as people remember how liberal he is. People are just now starting to think about the race and numbers will change.

When Sarah Palin first got into politics as she notes in pages 2 and 3 of her book, the pro-life group did not endorse her for office because the “state GOP machine” wouldn’t let them.
I hope Sarah gets back to her roots and realizes that she started out as a Chuck DeVore.
I have no hostility towards her now, but I sure hope she gets back on track helping grassroots conservatives who want smaller government and individual prosperity instead of moderates who want bigger government that works with big corporations.
Right....and DeVore and friends haven’t been trying to smear Carly or misrepresent her pro-life stance at all.

The ONLY item in Newt's Contract that didn't get done, or for that matter, get a lot of support. Odd that. Still in all, Cornyn is only in the second year of his second term so it's not like it would have made much difference in this case anyhow.
Gotta wonder if the Founders ever considered the possibility of career politicians. Me, I dunno.
I hope not, this next week should tell us a lot after it is polled.
