didn't write the story, they only published it. And by so doing, they verified only the fact that it was about a former Columbia student. Which is what Rev. Manning makes an ass of himself disputing.

You have to understand, it was his ascetic period
. He hid out, away from distractions, away from people, in the library. Kind of like ole Karl, a century and half ago, in the Reading Room of the British Museum, analysin' capitalism and cooking up a pantload of grief for the 20th century.
If Manning wants to get on Obama's case, more power to him! Especially as a black preacher! But he needs to stick the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
