“With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, — none of which I know how to work — information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation,” Obama said. ...

The kids asked a lot of questions, including one about what kind of music the first lady likes.
“Oh, that's a good question. I like all kinds of music,” she said. “All right, so this is what's in my iPod, some of the stuff that's in my iPod. I love Stevie Wonder.” Other artists she named: the late Michael Jackson and “I've got some Rihanna, I've got some Beyonce — I love Beyonce. Oh, yeah, I love some Beyonce. I've got some new Usher on my CD. I'm trying to relate the things that are on there that you could connect with. Sting, anyone? Sting? No?”

WASHINGTON — Bob Dylan. Yo-Yo Ma. Sheryl Crow. Jay-Z. These aren’t musical acts in a summer concert series: They’re artists featured on Barack Obama’s iPod.

Growing up in the ‘70s, Obama said, he listened to the Rolling Stones, Elton John and Earth, Wind & Fire. Stevie Wonder is his musical hero from the era. The Stones’ ‘’Gimme Shelter’’ tops his favorites from the band.

The Illinois senator’s playlist contains these musicians, along with about 30 songs from Dylan and the singer’s ‘’Blood on the Tracks’’ album. Jazz legends Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Charlie Parker are also in the mix.

Obama's key contribution is that his policies are leading voters to demand emancipation from big government.

Wow! This shows a serious level of WH administration frustration in that they cannot control the message.

Perhaps Obama doesn’t like the fact that the Xbox and Playstation generation has given our soldiers a technological edge on other countries. Or maybe Obama just rattles on and on about crap he doesn’t know a thing about just to hear the sound of his own voice....lol!!
