If you want to get into some kind of debate about whether the two groups are some how equivalent categories or not equivalent categories I’m not going to debate that because I don’t disagree with the statement that they are not equivalent categories. However, black people are a group. Homosexuals are a group. Those two statements are simple statements of fact. Both of those groups have a small percentage that votes Republican. That is also a fact. I’m not making a statement for or against if the groups are equivalent groups. All I’m saying is it doesn’t make sense to alienate the small part of the group that is not confused and not fooled by leftist garbage. Those right-thinking members of those groups are our philosophical “brethren.” It is not necessary to determine whether or not the two groups are equivalent types of groups to say that in both groups, we should be encouraging those who are getting it right. If you want to call that odious, then ok you think its odious. I think it’s well-reasoned and obvious.

Moving to your “big deal” point. There shouldn’t be a big deal made of it. There should be no deal made of it. In addition, it shouldn’t be ok to attack and ridicule them. In a way, that’s making a “big deal” too, isn’t it?

Moving to your don’t ask don’t tell point. If they are conservative and they are gay, it does not follow that no one will know. Does no one know that you are straight? There’s no way to know if someone will know or not. The point is, if someone does know, they should be judged by the strength of their ideas, not the sex of the person they sleep with. It’s so much less important who they sleep with than the ideas by which our country is governed.

As for the homosexual agenda, I think this should be thought about in two parts: that which a person chooses for themselves and that which a person chooses for another person. To the extent that the homosexual agenda makes choices for others, then it should be treated like all threats to liberty, not because its a homosexual threat to liberty, but because it is a threat to liberty.

If you get your liberty taken away, its not going to be a better loss of liberty because it was taken from you by communists than by homosexuals. So I think we should live and let live, when it comes to letting someone choose who they decide to have sex with. If the homosexual agenda seeks to impose itself on others, then it should be opposed. If others try to force homosexuals into their own view of they way things should be with regard to their personal choice of who they want to be intimate with, then that should be opposed. I don’t think any of us would want someone telling us who we could and could not choose as a mate. It’s a question of liberty.

A few of the nastier aspects of the homosexual agenda:

- Catholic Charities in California can no longer place kids for adoption in our state because it is against their beliefs to place kids with homosexual couples. They had operated successfully in California for decades and placed thousands of children.
• A Christian photographer was forced by the New Mexico Civil Rights Commission to pay $6,637 in attorney’s costs after she refused to photograph a gay couple’s commitment ceremony.
• A psychologist in Georgia was fired after she declined for religious reasons to counsel a lesbian about her relationship. Even though she referred the client to a supportive psychologist.
• Christian fertility doctors in California who refused to artificially inseminate a lesbian patient were barred by the state Supreme Court from invoking their religious beliefs in refusing treatment.
• A Christian student group was not recognized at a University of California law school because it denies membership to anyone practicing sex outside of traditional marriage.
- We have homosexual sex promoted in our public schools starting in kindergarten.
- Wanda Sykes is regularly lecturing teenage boys on a tv PSA that it is not ok to use “gay” as a perjorative, and that they’d best shut up and submit to the current dogma.
- Big Brothers/Sisters now places at risk kids with same sex homosexual adults. Even though homosexuals molest at a far higher rate than heterosexuals. They will not of course place straight men with minor girls or straight women with minor boys.
- The Sea Scouts have lost their decades old slip for their ship in Berkeley because the Scouts don’t allow homosexual men to be troop leaders. Troop leaders take kids on overnight camps that last as long as two weeks.

To compare this garbage to the struggle for basic human right for black people is obscene.

Not only do you have a poor understanding of liberty (rights), but also of history.

Homosexuality and heterosexuality have never been on equal footing........never has, is not now, and never will be...........sure, laws can be written to "make it so" and judges can "decree it such".........

But, packing human fudge, packing dog fudge and packing horse fudge...........not one of these is a natural right, never has been, is not now, and never will be...........

Nature, society and the words of Providence testify against it........from the dawn of mankind until this very day.

As a side note........if there is a nicer way to say "packing fudge", would someone on this thread pass that along to me.........

You don’t have a clue, do you.

You should do a FR search using the keywords “homosexual agenda”.

Read up for a while.

Then we can talk.
