Per Drudge...
Yesterday, a listeners son was offended that his school, Klein Collins High School, displayed the Mexican flag prominently. His mother called to complain, and the school wouldnt return her call. The student took the sign down.
The school pitched a fit, reviewed the surveillance tapes, found the student, and suspended him for 3 days. AND he has to pay for the flag.
OK this is going a bit too far. Hanging a Mexican flag in a school is totally ridiculous. If they want to teach in Mexico, then all means, let’s let these teachers go so they can follow their hearts.
agree with you. if they want to have bulletin board with the flag on it and the description of the cinco de mayo and how it’s not celebrated in mexico, celebrated here and by whom, and what it’s for, but not hanging the damn Mexican flag. the school isn’t in mexico.
He should have said he thought another kid put it up as a joke, and he took it down to keep American students from being disrespected and starting a riot.
I have a suggestion. Put up a field trip. All the Latino kids who think the Mexican flag is cool and Mexico is cool...give them a day-pass and bus them over the border. Drive them through various areas of Mexico along the border. Let them have lunch with some Mexican kids who’ve spent their entire life in Mexico and let them discuss the drug gangs and the local killings. Then drive them by a local store and ask older folks who shop there how they afford things and prioritize their life.
Within twenty-four hours...they will shut up about Mexico and Mexican flags. They will concentrate fully on English, math and science skills. And they will grasp the difference in two cultures.
Either these people assimilate or they should go home.
He should have said he thought another kid put it up as a joke, and he took it down to keep American students from being disrespected and starting a riot.
*******
Yes, the dhimmis’ tactics need to be turned around on them as often as possible.
He should’ve desecrated and burned it..... then it would just be free speech....... right?
I’m sure Mexicans would have no problem hanging an American flag in a Mexican high school.
Actually they're well aware of the above. That's why you couldn't pay them to leave the US. But they still won't shut up. Too many "community organizers" at work.
Why is it that things that are found offensive by Americans are ignored while the sensitivities of others are responded to.
One dipstick found an Amrican flag in the desert offensive and vast amounts of time and money were consumed until the courts made a ruling.
It would have been veryh offensive to millions if the flag had been removed, but we were worried about the one.
You left out the most important part.....
Let them walk home......
If he had to buy that Mexican flag, I guess he can do what he wants with it
Now, did the school put up the US flag on Seis de Mayo?
Hear the radio interview of the high school student:

Scroll down below the Mexican flag to where it says “click here.”
“I have a suggestion. Put up a field trip.”
Why would we want to pay for a cross-border family reunion?

It seems interesting that KISD is targeting one persons misinformation, Michael Berry/AM 740, as a distraction away from their actions.
Lets review the KISD errors:
- prominate display of the Mexican flag in the hallway
- display approved by KISD staff
- team of 6 staff marched the student down to the principals office (6?)
- per the students mother, there is a hint of extortion ... they are demanding the student pay a third party for the mexican flag
- KISD hung-up on / would not speak with the students mother early in the event ... and did not take parental objections into account
- the Student and his family are now receiving death and violence threats; there is a portion of blame that KISD must accept for these threats, based on how they treated the parent, how they treated the student, and based on the aggressive PR campaign they are now running
The student is an ROTC member at the school, and should be proud of his actions.
My view - the patriotism of KISD staff is in question, and they showed poor judgement and PC-like behavior. They ignored the majority of tax payers in their district, and embarrassed themselves. Effectively, they have spit on the American Flag.
There are reasons why we only fly the American flag inside and outside schools; the blood of our patriots and the blessings of God allowed this school to even exist - and for another nations flag to be openly and brazenly displayed is an affront to these American Patriots.
Fire the school staff.
A little too “broad brush” there, FRiend. How about we just fire the administrators involved, and see what kind of effect that has on the rest of the staff, most of whom were not involved at all.
