I just saw this post now. It's interesting Horton is bemoaning the deconstruction of Christian society when in his otherwise stellar book, "Putting Amazing Back into Grace," Horton inadvisedly denounces Christian reconstructionists who simply believe the more Christianity is permitted to flourish in society according to the word of God, the more all members of that society will benefit by the preaching of the truth.

I've never been certain as to what Glodly evangelicals like Horton have against CR. Many see it as a conservative movement (many were part of Reagan's kitchen cabinet,) but that shouldn't ruffle Horton's feathers. Most reformed Christians are conservative.
