Let me guess, you vote for Alan Keyes every election?
I sometimes wish I could join you guys that don’t care, then I could just vote for myself every election and not have to get involved in grownup politics.
When I decide that my candidate is out of the running, then I search for plan B, just as I had to do in this election.
I proudly voted for Alan Keyes on four occasions.
Intregity still matters to people like me. Integrity is the “grown-up” position. My constitutional rights and liberties are not to be compromised.... ever!
LOL, too bad you live in a nation in which ALL the people elect our leaders, who legislate, and appoint the judges that decide if something is constitutional.
I much prefer a pro-life NRA member to the the truly, and openly, pro-abortion Tom Campbell, or Barbara Boxer.
Saw DeVore in the recent Republican Senate Candidates Debate. He was not impressive - came off as as whiney, spent most of his time attacking the other candidates, didn’t seem to have much of an agenda of his own.
That merely means that you don't care, you have a game to play and the consequences of your indifference is not enough to motivate you to make unpleasant political decisions as a voter.
I need not make unpleasant decisions when I have the best and brightest candidate, period. I care more about my constitutional rights and civil liberties more than you, and unlike you, I will not compromise any of them. Your analysis is pathetic and reflects on your integrity, or lack thereof.
Voting for Alan Keyes four times running and until he dies does not help anyone other than the Democrat party.
If you care, then quit taking the easy way out, and start making some decisions.
I have done precinct walking. I have been running phone banks for DeVore. I have tabled and signed up lots of volunteers for DeVore. It's all hard work and I'm not being paid anything (unlike Carly's astro-turf support at the last CRP convention). Nothing is easy. It is worth it to vote for the best and brightest.
My decision is final. I am voting for Chuck DeVore. Your whining and protestations will not change that fact.
I know, I have worked on a number of campaigns myself, sometimes paid, sometimes for free, sometimes several at once. That isn’t the point I was making.
I said make some decisions, liking what a guy says, and then supporting him election, after election, after election, after election, and presumably until the day he stops running, or dies, even though you know that he will never win an election (Alan Keyes), is avoiding making decisions.
At some point when it soaks in that you might be electing Tom Campbell, for no reason other than the unwillingness to be flexible and think like someone with a goal (like a soldier must) then try to force your self to face the real choices available to you as a conservative voter, and act on them.
Blah blah blah. Spare me your pathetic spin. I don’t follow fools. I vote for integrity, and it is up to everybody else to do the same or perish. If the sheep choose to perish, that is on them (and you if you follow that path).
By abandoning the best choice, you are the one electing Tom Campbell, not I. It is your thinking that got us Arnold Schwarzenegger when we could have had Tom McClintock. But no, you compromisers let those in the media scare you out of your first choice.
You are the tools. You are the sheep. You have chosen to build your house on shifting sand. Don’t expect that to end well. I and people like me stand upon the rock and we will not be moved.
Now go bleat somewhere else. You sicken me.
Good luck with your Alan Keyes lifetime voting record, hopefully he will run for the rest of your voting days.
Integrity and Alan Keyes? Don't make me laugh after the fence fiasco.
Since the “Tea Party” movement is totally grass roots, with some organizers, but no real organization, I’m not too sure who’s in a position to do endorsing on behalf of the movement. Somehow it doesn’t seem kosher. Seems each individual who considers himself/herself a Tea Partier is in a position to listen to various other individual endorsements and decide who s/he thinks is best suited for the job.
As long as people like you keep foisting the likes of Bush and McCain as our standard bearers, I’ll always look for principled alternatives.
You’ve mistaken me for somebody who gives a rip what you say.
I’d expect no other response from such a rank hypocrite as yourself.
Those who lack integrity such as yourself can only make false accusations. You are pathetic.
The floor is yours. I am waiting.
So if you want to see someone with no integrity, call up an image of Keyes. Or look at yourself in the mirror for being unwilling to confront the truth about him.
