OK, if this matter was merely about a personal divorce, this wouldn't be in the headlines up and down the Wasatch Range in print and on the air.
According to the article: Shannon slashed tires and scratched the body of a vehicle belonging to a man he believed was having an affair with his ex-wife.
But, hey, it's good all of your property defenders have weighed in on how tire-slashers and property vandals should be treated...as putting it aside as a "personal issue."
What's totally ironic is in today's Salt Lake Trib, there's another article headlined: SLC cops: Serial tire slashing suspect nabbed where they arrested a 43-yo suspect.
Saundra, are you going to defend this tire-slasher, too? (Maybe he was motivated by personal reasons, too, and should be excused or partially excused of his behavior, eh?)
What you don't seem to get is that Mick Shannon is not any different in the eyes of the court than this 43 yo just nabbed: They're both suspected tire slashers -- of a criminal felony level. Oh, sure, sentences will vary based upon number of incidents and the wealth of attorneys hired.
But, hey, Saundra and you other Mormons: Once you start defending one tire-slashing felon, how 'bout a "good word" for this other guy, too, for consistency purposes?
Crikey, this SOB was also a co-founder of the Utah March Of Dimes...will it never stop !!!!!
