Add a tincture from the flowers, and you get pain relief. Add powdered bark from the root and you will "see things". :)

Today's aspirin was originally derived from the bark of the willow tree.

As with any "natural" medicine, these can interfere with other drugs, can be contra-indicated when other health issues are present, and the stronger the tincture the more potent the effect. Do your own research, I'm not a doctor, etc. etc.
