Yeah, it’s professional wrestlers that we need in government, like our buddy, Jesse Ventura.

It is incredible that this hideous little man could have been honestly elected. And yes, he sounded intoxicated to me too.

ACORN did it.
I’m not quite sure of that - didn’t MN elect a goofy wrestler before Frankin?

Remember this when Gov. Pawlenty tries to tell us why he is qualified to be president in a year or two. He oversaw the theft of the senate seat by this idiot and said/did nothing. That ain’t presidential material, in my book.
As for Franken, can any of us honestly say that we expected more from him? The guy is the very definition of “clown”; look it up in your Funk & Wagnalls and his picture will leap off the page at you.

Goofy wrestler Jesse Ventura talked a pretty conservative, mainstream line when he was running for governor in Minnesota. He talked about cutting the size of state government, cutting taxes and seemed perfectly sane.
Keep in mind, Jesse ran in a three man race. The Dem candidate was Hubert's son, Skip Humphrey, a plain and simple Socialist and the GOPer was St. Paul mayor Norm Coleman, who had just become a Republican and no one was quite sure of.
About six months into his job, Jesse got strange, really strange. he threatened to beat up a newspaper reporter and then came out in support of the costly light rail system (his signature project.)

I just hope old AL looses his temper, which he does often to some Senator who is a former Marine. We could sell tickes to that one.

That is the best Max Baucus impersonation I have ever seen. And here I always thought that Franken was a no-talent.

You nailed it.
The last thing the GOP needs is Pawlenty.

Paul mayor Norm Coleman,
I remember now. I was rooting for Coleman. I’m remembering that was a close race, right?

Soros’ “secretary of state project” did it.
EVERY decision that came before the SoS in that election went in favor of Franken.

Norm beat Skip by 200,000 votes but lost to Jesse due to the big turnout. Jesse’s campaign turned out people who had rarely voted in previous elections. He (or his campaign manager) did something right...

LOL! Franken pushing the Dodd Bill. Dodd had the good sense to ‘retire’ before he was unseated and indicted. Al is an ass.

It is a MN thing, but at least it couldn’t possibly be considered racist, could it?
