...nothing to get too upset about here folks...just another little milestone on the road to the coming race war....have you checked your cache lately?...you’re going to need at least 10 hi-capacity magazines for each weapon.
I have to say I am shocked at the ignorance shown by those that chose ban the flag. The flag is not the problem, it should not be a problem to display our flag anywhere on our soil. If anyone has an issue with our flag they are in the wrong country. The school needs to deal with problem students and let our flag alone.
The VP that challenged the students should be banned!
WTF? You have to be kidding me and on Fox news? Should we ban good morals, values and judgment? The world is a$$ backwards right now... I just don’t understand it!
As I understood it, the flag represents the nation--including, supposedly, the federal government. But apparently not anymore. Apparently now it represents nativist anti-government "rednecks."
Well if that's the case, then perhaps the federal government should take that awful flag down from all its buildings and properties, because otherwise their endorsing "redneck nativism." Then once they have done that they can adopt their own flag and make it a "hate crime" to destroy it.
I own a business in the UK. When I first started doing business there I was surprised to see so few displays of the “Union Jack” either on flag poles or on apparel. When I asked a friend, he told me the display of the Union Jack was considered offensive and few UK citizens felt comfortable making such patriotic statements. This happened gradually over years and it was the state run media, BBC, that led the way. The UK has given their country away.
Seems the touchy feely trolls are around, I cannot believe the results of this poll. Cripe if this is the case why have a national ensign at all. Why bother with national pride..oh yeah..in school I guess the indoctrination is that we are Not a great nation which has helped countless countries around the world in times of disaster or need..nope we are the Crappiest Nation on the Planet and we deserve no better conditions than found in the Congo.
Does this make any sense? If the country is bad, then shouldn't the federal government be abolished instead of protected with "hate crime" legislation?
Ain’t multiculturalism grand.
Thanks for posting this poll. I often have trouble getting to FNC sites.
The results of this poll are unbelievable! The AMERICAN FLAG should NEVER be hidden....never mind banned!! This is America and anyone who is unhappy here is blessed enough to be able to leave!
Does ANY other country on the planet HIDE their flag because someone objects?? We, Americans, should not be afraid to show our patriotism!
I agree. There must not be protection on it to limit it to one vote per IP address.
So....
We FReepers hammer that poll back!
We are now having to defend the right to display our flag over
A FAKE HOLIDAY MADE UP BY CORONA TO SELL BEER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has this been banned yet? If not, I’m sure it will be next.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
They have been in public schools.
Should the American flag be banned?
No. This is a lame decision. Teach the kids what the flag means, instead of banning it. 46% (146,532 votes)
Yes. The safety of students comes first. 53% (167,442 votes)
Not sure, but of all things to ban, the American flag would seem the least ‘incendiary.’ <1% (1,267 votes)
Other (post a comment) 1% (3,233 votes)

Gee. You write out the f-word.
But you self edit (****) the second profanity.
