One of the most poignant ironies of our judicial system is that Justice Thomas, who has been widely and cruelly ridiculed as being of substandard legal intellect, is actually one of the most brilliant of our Supreme Court justices, and he is absolutely the truest and soundest constitutionally.

Agree 100%. I think his writings on the original meaning of the Commerce Clause in Lopez and Raich are nothing short of brilliant.
