I have no doubt that they would have said something before turning the country over to Obama if they believed that he was not qualified.

Furthermore, if Obama wasn't qualified, Hillary Clinton would have found out about it and paraded it around on TV and in the media. Anybody familiar with the Clintons know the lengths they will go to in order to discredit their enemies.

Even if the birthers won, Joe Biden would become President and we'd be in the same mess we are right now, headed down the road to socialism that was started under Bush.

Birthers believe that Bush and Cheney are part of the conspiracy, Hillary remained silent because Obama has secrets that could destroy her (what these secrets are haven't really been explained) and there exists a magical birther "do-over" button that in the event of birther victory, the entire Obama/Biden ticket would be disqualified, everything Obama signed into law would be nullified and either George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, John McCain or if they're being really optimistic, Sarah Palin would somehow assume the presidency.

All the while they call themselves "Constitutionalists."

While CNN, MSNBC and other "Obama friendly" news outlets will happily roll out the red carpet for birthers to come on the air and make conservatives look like unhinged lunatics.

The topic. If a fair eligibility story put them ahead during a given time slot, they might start covering it more and Beck and O’Reilly might stop slamming the “birthers” and actually look closer at the eligibility issue.

I detest CNN, but I can agree with your point. I didn’t know the LTC was on until Sunday, but I would have known AC would not be a fair interview. I watched his global warming special in which it sensationalized some nun’s murder as if it was relevant. I vowed never to watch that network a second time (and emailed them to say so.) I don’t watch O’Reilly anymore either.
