It really was a shame that the US gov would not protect American Citizens, but would allow a rancher to live in fear for so long before finally being killed.

Yeah. Unfortunately, keeping the borders open is a bipartisan effort. If the death of 3,000 + on 9/11 didn’t warrant effective border security on 9/12, the death of a rancher means nothing to the OBLers.
