Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Thursday diverged from her Tea Party base and endorsed ex-Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, who is vying for the GOP nomination to run against Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.).
Fiorina in running in the June 8 primary against state Assemblyman Chuck DeVore and former Rep. Tom Campbell for the opportunity to try to unseat Boxer. But Palin took to Facebook Thursday afternoon to endorse Fiorina over the other contenders in "Reagan Country," and in the process took a shot at Campbell, although she didn't refer to him by name.

Fiornia appears about to make a comeback in the Republican primary. This will definitely help her, and she’s more conservative than the leading Republican, Tom Campbell. She does need to put more of her money in the race, like Frank Lautenberg did in 1982 and Jon Corzine did in 2000.
Sorry Sarah, in your bid to prove your mainstream to the establishment, you’re acting like another two-bit politician.
And all to no avail, the establishment will NEVER accept you as one of theirs.
She just lost more credibility with the base, sorry to say.
your mainstream = you’re mainstream
Well ya don’t say. Yes, I am rolling my eyes. It’s just not defensible IMO.
i’m suspicious of tea party express. It uses the name tea party, but they have endorsed some candidates thats are not for limited government
Well you need a captain like one that was on the titanic that was willing to make the decision that only woman and children go on boats first and leave all the men behind. Its not an easy decision
Much to the chagrin of the “Palin is the next Reagan” crowd.
Sarah lost her conservative street cred when she decided to go all in with Juan McCain. For anyone to continue to make apoligies for her at this point is simply laughable. She is nothing more a two bit rino politician..in the mold of her ‘maverick’ mentor from AZ.
The only thing I can think of is how male GOP candidates cower and apologize whenever a woman democrat accuses them of being mean or attacking. So if Fiorina gets the nod, the claws can come out against Boxer, without apology.
But I don't know why anyone would want to be guv of CA!
Tom Campbell was my Congressmen when I lived there ... you are right in your assessment.

Jan Evans: Carly Fiorina has been endorsed by the National Right to Life, the California Pro-Life Council, and the Susan B. Anthony List. She is pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-military, and pro-strict border security and against amnesty.
She is against Obamacare and will vote to repeal it and prevent the government takeover of private companies and industries.
Carly is also a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. Like me, she is a member of the NRA, has a 100% NRA rating, and she and her husband are gun owners. She is pro-energy development and believes as I do in an all-of-the-above approach to energy independence.
She is against cap and tax. And most importantly, Carly is the only conservative in the race who can beat Barbara Boxer. Thats no RINO. Thats a winner.

Ack—read some of these comments! What should we call these potted plants, these “concern trolls” who come to whine about Palin? Maybe “Eeyores”—like the gloomy old donkey on Winnie the Pooh. I’m suspected they vote donkey, too.
To the anti Palin shills.....not this shite again (geeeze)
I’m deeply disappointed in Sarah Palin. She is backing the wrong candidate.
Fiorina more conservative than Campbell? That’s your view from Indiana?
I could tell you don’t live in Calif. They’re running for Senate, not to replace Arnold.
Another out of stater. They are running to replace Sen. Boxer, one of the bottom 10 worst democrats in the Senate, not to replace Arnold.
read #13 and try saying that again.
