What the people who commented on her website fail to understand is that Sarah was not asked to tell us “who the only true conservative” in the race was. She was asked to endorse a candidate. In other words, who do you want to win and face Boxer. Her endorsement seems perfectly fine to me. Fiorina might beat Boxer, that’s one more (albeit liberal) Republican in the senate where every single vote counts when it comes to majorities and filibusters. Fiorina is a lot better than boxer. I am not fan of Carly or Scott Brown but conservatives in CA and MA need to realize that in a statewide race that is the best your going to get. If you don’t like it move to non socialist state.—— I will now retire to my cave to be flamed.

She didn’t endorse the most conservative candidate, though.

I think this needs to be kept in mind when people bash other Republicans as unfit due to being not purely conservative enough compared to Palin. Truth: Palin is not much different from them.

The quest for the immaculate conservative has doomed the California GOP to near irrelevance, and we here in California have suffered for it. CA voters would be happy with RINO’s, conservatives don't usually even win their own primary, but they sure attract a lot of attention from those on the quest.
