A friend of mine and her mother stopped into a lingerie store in the mall, back in the 80s it would have been, and Peg's mom pulled a pair of those panties out of a basket on a table and said "Now look at this - there's no support AT ALL in this bra" - Peg nearly died, first laughing, then trying to explain.
