No one wins until the EDL starts a party and takes seats. Both parties believes Islamophobia is a disease.
David Cameron and other conservatives want to pass anti-discrimination laws protecting Islam.

There isn’t even a political party that aren’t Nazi’s that oppose Islam. BNP are national socialists.
EDL isn’t a party.

Britain is soooo dead.

The swing to the Conservatives was 8.4%. Translated to the whole country would give an absolute Cons majority, but of course too early to predict yet.

British elections aren’t as exciting as American elections, are they? I mean, watching the results come in bit by bit makes for great fun... as opoosed to some nerd on a podium reading final results. Talk about anti-climatic.

Excuse me, UKIP is both anti immigration, and pro conservative and may I add not fascist like the BNP!

2303 Has Labour's Douglas Alexander had early word of the count in Ed Balls' constituency, when the Education Secretary is facing a serious Tory challenge? He's just told Jeremy Paxman that "if the polls are correct we lose some very valuable colleagues this evening".

That could work.

The comments above and the 8.4% swing in the first constituency might mean a good evening for the Cons

you are right. Why isn't UKIP doing better in the polls then?
I would expect them to be near equal to what Geert Wilders is doing.

Yeah, but a huge 11% swing from Labour to the Conservatives. Could be a Tory rampage shaping up...?

2d seat decared. Another safe Labour seat, but the swing to Conservatives was 11.4%.
Interestingly the Conservatives overtook the Liberals and ended second in the constituency. Cleggomania is not showing up yet.
Next seat the first that can be called a contest - Sunderland Central Labour majority by 12.8% in 2005.
