At least she admits drinking the kool aid. Generally, admitting you have a problem is the first step to overcoming it. She still thinks it’s “cute” and “funny” to admit having this problem, but it’s a start.
That was my opinion too. People say things like this when they know that what they're doing isn't 100% kosher, but they're looking for a socially acceptable way to couch what they've done.
Think of a FReeper saying stuff along the lines of: "I was surfing on DU the other day. Man, some of those people had legit points. I guess a stopped clock is right twice a day". Need to soften the their actions with socially acceptable platitudes.
