Diane Wood Would Give Obama Reliable Abortion Advocate on Supreme Court

Washington, DC -- President Barack Obama will likely name a Supreme Court nominee in the coming days or weeks and should he pick federal appeals court Judge Diane Wood, he will get a reliable abortion advocate. Left-wing politicos like her judicial background of taking the most polemic pro-abortion position possible.

This is my worst nightmare — a communist ideologue, ivory-tower apparatchik.

I know we’re gonna get a lefty; that’s a given. But let it be someone who has been elected to something important, and who has been accountable for their behavior to a significant number of real people.

I agree we are going to get a lefty, but why not a blue dog democrat? That would be more acceptable to everyone...well except the fringe left. Obama has already chose one justice and now gets another. At this rate he could replace half the court. Something not fair here :)
