Thank you so much!! This helps a great deal!

I assume anything in a 45cal size is going to be very loud, yes?

Also...why do you not recommend it for "concealed carry"?

Why are you so focused on a “loud report”?

Not trying to start a caliber war here but I find the Taurus Judge to be more of a novelty than anything else. 45LC is fine but the .410 00 buckshot out of the short barrel is of questionable stopping power.

If you aren't going to CCW then get a double action revolver with a 4" barrel even a .38 Special with +P rounds will be effective enough.

J&G Sales has lots of S&W police trade ins for less than $300.

‘The Judge’ series is BIG with the extended chambers needed for the .410 shells. The 2.5” is a possible but the bigger 3” is a bit much in my opinion.

My daughter has the 2.5 version and it would and is a good car gun but you would have to have very loose clothing to conceal it.

We have shot the smaller version outside and yes it is loud but I don’t think I would notice or care if I was in defense mode.

BTW... There is some special .410 shells with three disks and 10 ‘BB’s available. The disks hit like .38 specials except three at a time according to the reports I have read.
