SAN DIEGO — A man slashed a woman on the face while yelling “Scarface” in an attack on the doorstep of her home in City Heights Monday night, San Diego police said.
The 33-year-old woman answered a man’s knock on her door at her home on Fairmount Avenue near Dwight Street about 10 p.m.
The man swiped her face with an unknown sharp object as he yelled the title of the Al Pacino gangster film before running away. The woman’s wounds were superficial, police said.
Investigators said Tuesday that the attack does not appear to be random and may be connected to a series of prior incidents involving the family.
The assailant was described as Latino, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, heavy build, wearing dark clothing and a black hooded sweat shirt.

I disagree as I'm inclined to believe he yelled the stage name of rapper Brad Jordan.

A bit off topic, but I just read something about a UK knife problem. I had never heard about this-do you have any more information?

There’s an article on Drudge about Simon Cowell ranting over Britain’s “knife problem.” Yes, there’s a huge issue with knives over there. Since they’ve banned guns, the yobs are roaming the streets with knives and bleach bombs. It’s really not safe to be on the streets after dark over there, and that’s coming from people who live in country.
We’re still safe in America provided we can protect ourselves. Cowell doesn’t understand that America is free and safe because our people can rise up at any time, putting the fear into government (which hasn’t been working real well as of late).
And people wonder why Americans are armed to the teeth.

Criminals and the criminally insane do not follow laws and are going to use whatever means necessary to carry out their crimes. By disallowing the public to arm themselves, you are effectively allowing "survival of the fittest" rule wherein the criminals are the survivors.
