We even get most of our electricity from two little generators down at Hoover Dam that are dedicated to our town. Our electricity is really, really cheap. So is water.
So government subsidies are good as long as you're getting them...Got it.
But don't try moving here. Lot's of god fearing Mormons and more churches per capita than Idaho.
Right, you holier than thou Nevadans with all those gambling and prostitution conservative values.
There is also a City Charter with built in slow growth.
So you are a bunch of government control freak liberals then.
This town has 15,000 people but gets millions and millions from California green utility rate payers.
You have a problem with that? Who's the fool?
Federally subsidized water will make a nation rich.
Federal subsidized means federal government control...Let me know how wonderful subsidized water is when your man Obama decides you have too much and the fish don't have enough...

Federal control of your water, really frigg'n brilliant.

Thanks for all the California bucks.

Capitalist free enterprise under the rule of law in Boulder City gets rich off California and federal socialists folly (which, being overwhelmingly Republican, we don't vote for).

No state income tax here. Very low property taxes. This town is the only incorporated city in Nevada with local option no gambling, no prostitution, no stand alone liquor stores.

California (Orange County) was nice for 48 years in the same house. We moved when the state income tax equaled a mortgage on a new house in Nevada and our neighborhood became infested with illegals.
