LOL, looks like they play the same poll games there as well. Show the libs winning in the polls and then, just before the election, release the real poll numbers so as not to lose credibility when the election results come out.

I worry that we are losing that old-school respect. When I was young and we got caught pinching apples, we got a smack from the local policeman. Today if that happened he would be sued. There is a tendency to punish the victim, not the criminal. If someone broke into my house or my mum's house, I worry that the burglar has more rights than me. And now I feel you are more likely to be convicted of speeding at 45 miles an hour than if you knifed somebody in the street.

It'll take a cultural revolution (at the very least) to rid the West of this crap.

When you think about it, American Idol is a very conservative concept, in that the winner is based on merit.

It’s the government’s job to encourage entrepreneurialism and investment. Most importantly, it’s the government’s duty to inspire confidence.

Disagree. American Idol winners are not chosen on merit. They win based on how many teeny-boppers think someone is cute and make the phone calls to vote. Talent is apparent in the final half dozen or so, but it’s the volume of phone calls that determines the winner.

He sounds like one on Top Gear. What I like about him is how he rails on global warming and the welfare state on the show. I can almost see the BBC brass cringe every time he goes off on socialism.
