I figured there would be a FReeper that would take my comment literally. That is why I said,
"It can cause catostrophic damage" and
"could possibly bring down a plane." So, your comment,
"that's not really true" is moot.
It's not that I'm uneducated on aviation, btw. For many years, I owned a large aviation insurance company.
I'm surprised you didn't correct me on my spelling, too. ;-)

Nah. I suck too badly at speeling to ding ya for that! The reason I commented, is because a lot of folk do believe that a single bullet-hole through an aircraft's hull is something that will bring the craft down. Hollywood perpetuates such nonsense because it makes for dramatic film, and people believe it.
