PHOENIX - The Phoenix Suns will wear "Los Suns" on their jerseys Wednesday for Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals, owner Robert Sarver said, "to honor our Latino community and the diversity of our league, the state of Arizona, and our nation."
The decision to wear the jerseys on the Cinco de Mayo holiday stems from a law passed by the Arizona Legislature and signed by Gov. Jan Brewer that has drawn widespread criticism from Latino organizations and civil rights groups that say it could lead to racial profiling of Hispanics. President Barack Obama has called the law "misguided."

I don’t get these people. Do they think that all immigration restrictions are bad? If not, it’s merely a question of where the line is drawn. Any policy short of open borders will be called racist by some.
Wrong, wrong, wrong. Bob Sarver is a bigtime moon-bat. You are probably thinking of Jerry Colangelo, who sold the team back in 2004.
Yeah, Nash is a lefty freak, a real kook, and a Canuck. Steve, go back to Canada and good riddance.
Robert Sarver is giving money to McCain and taking tax money from Obama. On opensecrets.com he mostly gives to Republicans.
The greatest example of government bailout excess may just be Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver, whose banks have taken $140 million in Troubled Asset Relief Program funds.

Early in the NBA season, most southern teams wore Los jerseys. However, no NBA team does that on May 5, because that is playoff time. The Los stuff is done to sell jerseys and get people to boring games, not for the playoffs.
Further, the Suns owner recently made a statement that the law was too harsh (as did the Spurs coach). Then, the team got to vote on what to wear, and unanimously voted to wear the Los jerseys. It was not a promotion or some kind of planned Latin event. It didnt happen until the law was made.

How about the president that took out a rogue leader, cut taxes, attempted Social Security Reform...
Picking out a group of good or bad points doesnt prove you are correct on an issue.
Unfortunately, they pretty much agree
After LBJ and the Bush boys...Please Sam, no more Presidents from Texas!
Just tuned in to see for myself- there are empty seats.
That's terrific news :)
