Saw somewhere today the Obamistas think they can recover in time for the 2010 midterms because of a better economy

Yeah, that $3.09/gal I pumped into the Sante Fe yesterday certainly makes my pocket book a little lighter. Gas prices are going to destroy any glimmer of a recovery and unemployment will continue to rise.

I think unemployment has basically peaked, but I don't see it going down much any time soon. It's a lagging indicator and usually last to recover. The MSM has pounded the “jobless recovery” theme for so many years I don't think their cheerleading for Obama and a recovery will convince anyone as long as it stays around 10%.

Actually, only Republicans are blamed for high gas prices. Democrats always get off scott free courtesy of the American people.
