Hasn’t this been presumed for a very very very long time? Isn’t there one interpretation of 911 which affixes the responsibility for the perpetrators directly on Iran?
It is one idea that has been floating around. Another idea is that he died in a bombing raid during the Tora Bora offensive. Bin Laden had (and has) plenty of help, but 9/11 was his doing.
