Alliance For Climate Protection IS Al Gore. He donated to himself.
Very interesting Moorish details however. Hat tip to the Arabs, Al?
Mostly its screaming California nouveau (riche). Half Spanish grandee, half shack. Way too close to the neighbors and the road. Convenient to looting revolutionary mobs who will come in the name of the People. (Of Aztlan.)
Actually, no, it's not italianate, in the Spanish Colonial Revival style designed by the very yankee doodle dandy popularizer of that style George Washington Smith, originally a painter from the East, but studied architecture at Hahvahd & set up shop in Santa Barbara. His houses are highly prized by architecture buffs, myself included.
This house is on Mesa Road, and I've had my eye on it for a while. It's undergone extensive renovations and it looks like (if the story is correct) the Gores got a couple of mil knocked off the tab.
Dayum. I can't believe that fat tacky huckster stole my dream house!AAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for those millions of young people who actually believed Gore’s fictional film An Inconvenient Truth and run around turning out lights and conserving water: “Let Them Eat Cake!”
I hope nobody misunderstood. When I wrote, “it’s called Italian style,” I meant it was called that in the blog linked at the original link. I have better eyes.
You like it...To each his own.
Yes, I’m sorry. I gathered that you knew better since you pointed out that its moorish elements negated any italian influence, but I realized I was unclear in my response to you after I submitted the post. The source was mistaken, not you.
Swimming pools and movie stars!
It has a whale pen?
No thats the CEEEEment Pond where he can keep the critters.
Pray for America
I thought it might be a pen for him and the wife. They are looking pretty big.
bttt
Let’s hope Tipper takes him to the cleaners in the divorce :-)
“Hypocrite......”
Yes, here’s an interesting example - if the oceans are going to rise 12 feet soon, as AG’s piece of fictional cinema pointed out, then why would he buy a home on the ocean and move to the coast???
Death wish? I think NOT :-))))))))))
Bring that one up next time you’re in the right conversation with a liberal. I watched Andrew Breitbart’s speech at the Right Online conference earlier on cspan, and he said something really important, that we’ve got to stop preaching to the choir and start taking it to the enemy where they are.
Those pics should be posted on as many big left-wing blogs as possible. (’cause you can bet the pics of Glenn Beck’s new residence in Texas will be.)
