Impeachment. How is it legal for him to disclose top secret information to the world that would land any other American citizen in prison or even warrant a death sentence for revealing the same information? Being commander in chief doesn’t make him exempt from the laws of this country. And I’m sure there is a law covering the disclosure of top secret information regarding our nuclear arsenal.

Although the disclosure may be inadvisable, no law has been broken. The Executive Branch has the responsibility for controlling National Security information. The President calls the shots by Executive Order.

For Immediate Release December 29, 2009 Executive Order - Classified National Security Information

"This order prescribes a uniform system for classifying, safeguarding, and declassifying national security information, including information relating to defense against transnational terrorism. Our democratic principles require that the American people be informed of the activities of their Government. Also, our Nation's progress depends on the free flow of information both within the Government and to the American people. Nevertheless, throughout our history, the national defense has required that certain information be maintained in confidence in order to protect our citizens, our democratic institutions, our homeland security, and our interactions with foreign nations. Protecting information critical to our Nation's security and demonstrating our commitment to open Government through accurate and accountable application of classification standards and routine, secure, and effective declassification are equally important priorities.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, by the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows....."

And I am likewise quite sure there is a law covering the disclosure and/or selling of our long-range missle technology to our communist enemy, China. But that sure as hell didn't stop Bubba (BJ) from selling it for campaign cash. Let's get real here. The DemocRATS are above any law of man and "they think" they're above any law of God, since they really don't believe in God. They'll find out otherwise some day. Alas, I doubt that will be any consolation to us for a long, long while.

All classified information has to be reviewed to see if it should be declassified. There is always someone with the authority to declassify classified information.

I don't doubt that his administration had the LEGAL authority to release this information.

Bad administrations had the ability to do an incredible amount of harm. Especially ones with foolish ideologies that prevent them from exercising common sense.

It's our duty to vote them out of office as soon as possible to limit the damage they can cause as much as possible.
