If I’m not mistaken, I believe the type of bomb that the Denver muslim and his crew were going to try and detonate in NYC was going to be made of fertilizer and peroxide as well. Sometimes the “primitive” bombs are due to the easily accessible materials rather than lack of ability. Think of all the IEDs in Iraq. Most of these were also fairly crude, but effective.

Yeah, the Oklahoma bomb was nitrigen fertilizer and kerosene fuel if I recall correctly. After that bombing they were tracking all large fertilizer sales for quite a while, if not still.
