Millington took a major hit Friday night/sat morning. There are still roads closed, and apartments and houses filled with water. Many have still not been able to get to their homes to check on animals. This happened so suddenly (and in the middle of the night) that some just had time to get out of bed and out of the house.

We're a county north, in Tipton county. There are a lot of homes and businesses that flooded here - including 3 houses less than 1/2 mile from us. (I knew when they built those houses in the flood plain of a creek that one day they were goners).

That’s awful. We lived in an older development, no basements low middle income. The houses were probably built late 60’s early 70’s. I don’t remember a creek anywhere close to us.
