The native population of Texas got their independence back in 1836. They later elected to join the United States.

All for Texas Independence myself. Willing to move to West Texas and help defend them from Mexico. The Mexicans own El Paso as it is right now. Unfortunately my parents who moved out to So Cal don't want me to leave So Cal right now. Dang and they have 5 other kids, but I cant leave. Oh well.
