Really not caring what the Catholic church says or does anymore.
I am just starting to get over the sermon I heard at mass this evening. I am a cradle Catholic and these POS are not going to drive me out of my church. But ... purely partisan Leftwing Communist political rants are going to dry up my wallet. There are plenty of other worthy charities to absorb my contributions. I know that I am required in good faith to contribute to the support of the Church. Do you think $2.00 per Sunday Mass is enough? Multiplied by a couple hundred congregants, that's about $400 to the Marxist in the pulpit for about an hour's work. I think that's quite adequate, don't you? The balance goes to sweeten the pot for the bums who panhandle me on the streets, a kind of charity that Father Trotsky-Lenin finds annoying. Voting to pick the pockets of unwilling contributors to "social justice" is much more worthy acording to what I hear in Church. As the owner of the vineyard says in the Gospel, "Is this not my money to do with as I please?" I learned in church that the answer is "No." Certainly not for long sucka. We grape pickers are going to vote for an equitable distribution of your purse. As H.L.Mencken wrote,"An election is merely an advance auction of stolen goods." I might add that, after tonight's sermon, I suspect the Sunday collection is too. Please excuse the rant. I feel much better now. The floors of Hell, after all, are paved with the skulls of priests - old Catholic proverb and doubtless good onto Eternity.
I still believe in a higher power just not the one that supports Communism/Marxism.
