Birthers place significant emphasis on understanding the original intent of the Founding Fathers, which is critical and relevant, IMHO. Birthers laugh at and hold in contempt those who equate citizenship at birth with natural born citizenship. Yet, birthers do essentially the same thing in attempting to equate our English, legal meaning of a phrase with its Kenyan cultural heritage meaning. Take the same care to understand the original intent of those Kenyan phrases.
It means just as we thought it means. Members of the Kenyan government have said Obama is "Native to THIS soil" and another said when is Obama going to "repatriate himself" back to Kenya? Or when the Kenyan Minister of Lands Orengo said in March,
"...how could man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the President of America?"
The Kenyan Minister Orengo without ambiguity clarified all those past statements that the Obots who have danced on the head of a pin trying in vain to spin them away.
Birthers laugh at and hold in contempt those who equate citizenship at birth with natural born citizenship.
We put in contempt the silly attempts to dissuade people from the overwhelming evidence that jus soli and jus sanguinis is what constitutes a natural born citizen.
Yet, birthers do essentially the same thing in attempting to equate our English, legal meaning of a phrase with its Kenyan cultural heritage meaning. Take the same care to understand the original intent of those Kenyan phrases.
We see you guys trying to tell us that 2 + 2 = 5, but we see with our own eyes that Obama is highly likely was born in Kenya from the statements that we have read and heard from in and out of the Kenyan government.
