You're oddly reticent to find source for "sovereign" under Blackstone and feudalism, Mr. Rogers. And yet, you're oddly insistent upon the same source for other terms such as "natural born citizen," despite the fact that being subjects in perpetual allegiance was roundly mocked and despised in the years leading up to the Convention.

What was it the original citizens called perpetual allegiance? "Perpetual nonsense." That is what you'd have the same people use as original source for their own citizenship, lol.

A sovereign people cannot be led by anyone other than themselves and that occurred via descent, just as a monarch could not be sovereign without that right descending to him.

Blackstone spoke of denizens. Blacktone spoke of French citizenship was passed on by jus sanguinis. Ms. Rogers cherry picks Blackstone and wrongly concludes Wong Kim Ark was a natural born citizen.
