Hey I'm SO glad you came back to me here, I tried to ping you but I kept getting your freepname wrong!

The story just came out this morning so you know everything that I do.  My wife and I are planning on checking out the new road from Volcan to Boquete and I'll let you know if I come across any new rumors.  Remember that Noriega's from Chiriqui and that Torrijos started his coup here.  That, and a few years ago when the were expanding the David airport they accidentally dug up a mass grave.

Maybe I need to go hide under my bed for a while.  Say, a year or two?

I am extremely glad and very happpy we made contact once again. It is always great to hear from you!

When are you and your wife heading up to Chiriqui? I love that part of Panama. My sister and my wonderful brother-in-law are there now. They are vacationing here from Denver. They should be back here in the next day or so.

I just returned from RibaSmith in Paitilla, and La Prensa was not carrying the story this a.m...at least not on the front page...I believe that would be front page news. It probably was too late for today’s printing. It should be on the news at noon though.

(Pause while I check channel 13. The news should be on in the next five minutes. Nothing. All the news channels are showing movies.)

“Remember that Noriega’s from Chiriqui and that Torrijos started his coup here. That, and a few years ago when the were expanding the David airport they accidentally dug up a mass grave.”

It is surreal we had a front row seat to all of this and even participated in the street riots. It’s a wonder I didn’t get hurt. But then, Noriega’s goons were poor shots.

When I would go to work, I always carried a change of clothes and other necessities in the event I couldn’t get home from work in the evening. I could depend on my lovely next door neighbor to feed my kitty cat if I couldn’t make it home.

Noriega deserves all the curses he has upon him: 2 strokes, hypertension, a bad heart, has trouble walking, has trouble talking, loss of a lot of weight, steep in depression, a bout with cancer...I wonder how the family members feel of those poor souls he had murdered. He is going to die in that Paris prison...Good.

Anyway, good making contact with you again. Take care, drive carefully, keep your car doors locked, and let me know of any further news. I will do the same.

My love to you and your wife.
