4 Years. He just won the GOP Primary in March over Kay Bailey Hutchison and Debra Medina without a runoff. Texas will NOT vote for a Democrat this November for Governor. So, we’re stuck with him for 4 more years.
Either this November to be replaced with a Clintonista Democrat or else in the NEXT go ‘round.
There was no Republican candidate running for governor last time either.
In more years...can’t vote him out this time as White, the Dem would be worse, and Kay (RINO) is back in Washinton and would have been worse than Perry anyway.... but this move by him is just panderring to the Mex.Americans in Texas who can legally vote - and the thousands of Mexican -Mexicans who vote here illegally.
Election for governor is this year, however there is one main point to consider before tossing him aside. His opponent is Bill White, the former mayor of Houston whose main claim to fame was converting New Orleans deadbeats to Houston deadbeats. The city is still suffering from that move.
