This oilspill will forever be the ‘Three Mile Island’ for oil drilling. Gas jumped 11 cents overnight in my neck of the woods, but then again, it is Friday.
An Oil price spike will lead to higher fuel costs which will cause food price to skyrocket. Yet Obama and company will blame ‘greedy’ capitalism for the markets reaction to government interference.
One rig is down, so supply should not be affected in the near term. Unless we’re being gouged.
