I share two things only with Hussein. Beyond that we are two completely divergent individuals.

1. I am a man.
2. My father was black and my mother was white. I identify myself as black because I am. So is he.

He might appear black , but I think he is a Indonesian, more so than a American.

But FRiend, that is an emotional statement. The census is about biological reality. If you were to have a child with a white woman, your child would most likely have quite fair skin, and the shape of his or her features may or may not appear African. That would be a biological result, no matter how you feel.

Example: Here is the actress Victoria Rowell, on the right, whose father was black and mother was white. The young woman on the left is her biological daughter, Maya, whose father is white.
