We thought he’d at least be a fiscal conservative

Correction:

Many hoped that he might become more conservative once in office. Anyone who bothered to listen to his election pitches in the summer of 2003 knew exactly were the Austrain stood in the political spectrum.

The famous restore our programs pitch on the steps of the Santa Monica Superior Court House in the spring of 2003 still rings in my ears.

Didn’t hear his Santa Monica speech , did hear others where he sounded like he wanted to reign in spending and keep taxes down. In retrospect we all heard what we wanted to hear. Just barely turn out to be better than Bustamonte. Schwartzenengger’s big pitch was coming together to get things done. Turned out that meant dumping all things conservative and agreeing with the Dems, now is endorsing Obamacare Ugh!!
