I wonder if swords and cannons are also included...
Governor Brewer...
When you’re done fixing Arizona, would you please consider running for Governor in NY?? We need All the Help we can get!!!
Arizona is returning basic rights to their citizens.
Bloody right! I CCW a 1911 and can’t carry a blade longer than 4 inches, that’s completely insane.
Should I want to pocket one of my 5 inch balisongs, then there’s the whole worry about being hassled by some cop having a bad day or who’s short on his quota.
Insane.
I hope Texas will follow suit and legalize the carry of Bowie knives.
The first knife, the harpy, is my carrying knife. Small, very easy to conceal even when open. Shape of blade and a pulling cut make this knife unbelievably dangerous. Second knife is my big blade in case I have to go into the woods or any other eventuallity that would require a 7.5 inch blade.
A joke right?
It has been a few years since I read Florida’s concealed weapons statute but I was stunned to read that it banned carrying a “Buck Knife”.
I suspect that has been changed but you never know.
Wow. This is some lady!
Something that does need attention is this stupid bidness of banning “switchblades” or automatic openers, or butterfly knives.
I’ve got several “assisted openers” that are legal in WA, but functionally there’s no practical difference between that and a switchblade. Same for any of the one-handed folders with a thumb stud or a hole like the Spyderco.
It’s not how the knife *opens* that matters in any way whatsoever. It’s a stupid rule.
How the West was won.
Off to send another card to our Govenor. As my husband would say, “What a mensch!”
Apparently Tempe makes it illegal to carry a knife. Period. Guess I’ve violated their law every time I passed through. I’ve carried a knife in my pocket since the 3rd grade...where we used to practice throwing them on the playground at school!
Looks like Arizona’s on a roll!
It is being spread around that Sheriff Joe wants a crack at being Governor. Seems the one they’ve got is signing good bills left and right.
