If you hit Costco in the next few days, you should be able to score a pallet of the old stuff that will keep your dishes sparkling for a century...
Then again, you could always try the old standard elbow grease. Who needs a dishwasher if they have kids??
Might be true in some areas of the country but at our Costco they told me I got some of the last pallet last fall.
