Andy Griffith is a lot more like his character, Lonesome Rhodes, in “A Face In The Crowd” than Sheriff Andy Taylor.
Unfortunately, you are correct. Andy pretty much is in the tank for the lefties. We still love him in NC, though. Face in the Crowd was a great movie, yet very dark and pointed. BTW, you have not lived till you try the pork chop sandwich at the Snappy Lunch in Mt. Airy. It’s like a hot dog on steroids.
