I thought Rosa Parks was the Civil Rights icon? I never heard of this woman.

And I can't find a "go to" moment in this brief bio. I'm sure she was a nice woman who did positive things along the way. But Barry is overacting.

She’s one of the “great-grandmothers” of the Civil Rights movement. A worker-type who promoted dialogue behind the scenes. Not a front person like MLK. She’s in the last generation of civil rights fighters who fought for real justice, before the communists infiltrated the movement.
